Marc Jacobs Hi-Shine Lacquer

Marc Jacobs Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer

I'm a complete nail polish junkie, always searching for new colors. When I saw the Marc Jacobs polishes at Sephora I had to try one. I had a serious addiction to Yummy Mummy from Butter London last fall/winter.  While staying on trend with nude colored nails this Fall I grabbed this amazing Fluorescent Beige. Let me assure you this is no ordinary beige, the opal hues in this will catch every bit of light around it. If you pick up just one color this season make sure it's this one.

Maybelline Color Show

Maybelline's new polish Color Show comes in 40 amazing colors. I picked two yesterday and used them immediately. I have recently organized my polish collection and picked colors I could use. Green with Envy is an amazing mint green and Fierce N Tango is just the right pop of yellow. They are priced reasonably at $2.99-$3.99. Check out all the colors HERE.

Cheers to Summer Nails!

Confession, summer neon nail lacquers are my absolute favorite! I am constantly looking for bright colors to mix and match. The Ciate Caviar for the nails just adds to the excitement. It is easy to apply, even on my right hand. They are beautiful little micro beads that you pour onto your nail when wet. Just gently press them down and thats it! They currently come in three colors Mother of Pearl (shown above), Black Pearls, and Rainbow. The sets do come with polish but I opted for Celtic Sun by China Glaze under it. The blue is of course my favorite Havana Dreams by Sephora and OPI. The beads stay on with no problem and I'm rough and tough on my nails!

The Merfolk Makeup

The merfolk or mermaids are seen on very rare occasions. Some say if you gaze upon these sea creatures it will be your last breath. While mermaids are quite alluring, some say they bring an omen of disaster. Others say that they can give the ability to breathe under water, when fate has been less kind to a drowning human. No matter which tale you believe, one thing is for certain, the mermaid is a ravishing creature. To get this merfolk look I used Laura Geller Forest Mist/Key Lime duo shadow on my upper and lower lid. I used Bling Tone Crystalline Green shadow on outer corner of lid. Then I lined my eyes with gold from MAC's Gilt by Association shadow. Mascara is Too Faced Size Queen Mascara. My nails are painted with OPI Hey! Get in Lime!. The stars were airbrushed by my friend Lou.

The Dark Queen's Makeup

The Dark Queen wears this seductive  look while spreading misery upon the kingdom. Feel free to use it for a night out on the town though. The eyeshadow and liner were done with Sephora's Smoky Eyes Palette. I love these palettes you can see a picture and review here. Mally Volumizing Mascara takes credit for the dark sultry lashes. The nails are Loreal's polish in After Hours. The icy bling at the base is two polishes. Sephora by OPI Indi-go With The Flow and China Glaze Luxe and Lush (Hunger Games collection). Enjoy this truly sinister look.

Blue Polka Dot Nails

I'm in love with this blue from OPI and Sephora. I had to do something fun with it. I just used a wooden cuticle pusher (pointy side) for the dots. Just pour a little on a paper plate and dab it in to create the dots! You can use any colors or do a bunch of brightly colored polka dots. I used a basic black polish and Havana Dreams blue (shown above).
